The dimensions listed in the dimensions tab are the exterior of the bed frame, not the mattress size. ALL King size bed frames are a Standard (or Eastern) King, unless specified. Standard King and Eastern King are used synonymously throughout the industry, and throughout our website. Cal (California) King beds are different from Standard (Eastern) King mattresses. California King mattresses are 4 inches longer and 4 inches narrower than Standard King mattresses. Also, unless otherwise specified, all bed frames are sold without the mattress, and DO NOT require a box spring.
