* To create a more modern style, the flat panel drawers do not have the engraved lines as shown in other colors when espresso option is selected.

About Our Bed Frame Sizes All bed frames on PlatformBedsOnline.com are made to fit standard mattress sizes (size chart below). The dimensions listed in the dimensions tab are the exterior of the bed frame, not the mattress size. ALL King size bed frames are a Standard (or Eastern) King, unless specified. Standard King and Eastern King are used synonymously throughout the industry, and throughout our website. Cal (California) King beds are different from Standard (Eastern) King mattresses. California King mattresses are 4 inches longer and 4 inches narrower than Standard King mattresses. Also, unless otherwise specified, all bed frames are sold without the mattress, and DO NOT require a box spring.

Some of the finish was scuffed in a few tiny spots. The company sent me a pencil to fill in the marring but that did not work. Out of 5 stars, I give it a 4.
Author: Patrick Just got my bed and drawers. Can be assembled by one person, easier with two. There is no internal frame for the drawers buy they role smoothly on my wood floor. Drawers cover the entire length so better if opposite side as nightstand. Feels solid an quite comfortable. Great bed for the price.
